The ATHENA Leadership Award® is presented to a woman —or man— who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.

The Great Falls Ambassador Committee is dedicated to presenting the most professional business image of the Chamber by welcoming new Chamber Members, retaining existing Members through “high-touch” Member contact and strengthening and supporting the mission of The Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. We accomplish this by representing the Chamber as official hosts at Chamber and Community Events.

The Business Advocacy Committee (BAC) identifies public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels. The BAC establishes the public policy position of the Chamber with approval by the Board of Directors. The committee’s approach includes supporting policies encouraging economic development, job growth, opposing burdensome legislative and regulatory proposals, and aids in making Great Falls more business friendly. In addition, the BAC encourages cooperation and partnerships among government, education, business and civic groups

Business Networking Groups
Business Networking Groups (BNG) are combinations of individuals from the business community who meet once a week to share ideas, information and ultimately exchange leads/referrals. The Chamber has six unique business networking groups and each group has it's own unique culture and meeting date/time. Each group includes one representative from a particular product or service. Business Networking Groups group may be added to your Chamber membership for $50/year.

Leadership Great Falls is a community-wide program for adult professionals and is designed to identify, educate and motivate potential leaders for the betterment of the Great Falls area. The Leadership High School program is a condensed version of Leadership Great Falls and is offered to high school juniors.

The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) fosters and promotes a vital military presence in our community through activities that support our military populations. The MAC works diligently at maintaining relationships with the military, showing how much the presence of Malmstrom Air Force Base, the Montana Air National Guard and the Army Guard is appreciated by sponsoring following programs and events, such as MAC Annual Appreciation Events, MAC Monthly Luncheons, MAC Annual Ball, MAC Golferoo, Co-Commanders Program, Presentation of Quarterly and Annual Awards and Sponsorship and support of Global Strike Challenge and other events.

The Montana Defense Alliance was initially created to advocate for both Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB) and the Montana Air National Guard (MTANG) with a single voice and message. The MTDA has since grown to promote all of Montana’s military and Department of Homeland Security interests. MTDA’s primary key partners include Cascade County, the City of Great Falls, Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, the Great Falls International Airport, the Great Falls Development Authority and other strategic partners.
